St. Wolstan's Community School is an all girls school in Celbridge, Ireland and it runs a very full and involved Transition Year Programme. Transition Year is a gap year between the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert exam years. It is more practicaly focused than the other more academic school years. For example, you do a lot more projects and you get to go on work experience placements. As part of our Transition Year programme at the school we have been asked to create a blog and document our experiences of the year.
